It was a great boat ride. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins on the way. We even stopped for that. The Benagil caves would be beautiful if there weren't thousands of tourists. Kayaks, boats and swimmers abound. awful. Then we went to other caves. That was great! A great trip, but don't focus too much on just this one cave. Everything around is much nicer!

I appreciated having chosen this company and this type of boat (zodiac/speedboat), we were comfortable (semi-sitting/standing position) which allowed us to see well. We approach several magnificent caves including that of Benagil. We stay in the boat and the guide gets as close as the water allows. We have time to take several photos and admire the interior. For those who want to disembark and go on the sand, you have to choose the kayaking activity.

So much fun!! We went at the end of October at 9:30am and it was a perfect time of day. We didn’t get wet at all and didn’t need to wear our flip flops. (Our toes were freezing!) Glad we dressed warmly otherwise because these boats go fast and it is really rainy. They give you great raincoats and life vests. It was well worth the $40.
