We did enjoy it but shame water was so choppy making it so hard to paddle. We were the eldest of the group so struggled as we neared to negotiate going through the gap in the rocks. We weren’t the only ones who found it hard.Relieved when we reached the beach. Group was from different countries but so friendly.I managed to get lots of photos too.We opted for the tow back to the boat.

The weather was great and we kayaked for maybe 2 hours including a stop by a immaculate secret beach inaccessible by land, the journey passes through beautiful landscapes and cliffs of albufeira which I totally recommend, the tour guide was also nice enough to take photos for me when I’m at the beach as I couldn’t bring my phone.

Full description

Embark on a catamaran from Albufeira Marina for a short trip to Praia do Castelo. Here, we'll stop our boat and begin a 2.5-hour tour. Join your guide for kayaking to explore the bays, beaches, and caves along the Albufeira Area. IMPORTANT: This tour excludes a visit to BENAGIL CAVE. If the waters are calm, we'll pause at a small deserted beach for a refreshing swim in the sea. Later, re-board the catamaran for another swim before returning to the marina. While this kayak tour is relaxing, it does require some physical effort. If you ever wish to return to the catamaran, it will always remain close by.

We had very good weather and the water temperature was about the highest in the whole season. Good guides and organisation. Too bad we did not have waterproof bags for our phones, so we don’t have any photos of us on the kayaks.
