This was a beautiful boat ride to see the Hjorundafjord and stunning scenery ending up in Oye for 30 minutes. There was no guide, but it was a quarter of the price of the ship trip, and it was 4h30 rather than 3 hours. It appears there was also an option to get the bus to Oye and board the ship for a one way journey, which I didn't see when booking online, and would have been a nice option too.

Tickets are checked in a very superficial way. Some passengers were not allowed on the boat because there were too many people, even though they had correctly bought the tickets. Probably, there was somebody who hadn’t even bought tickets. You should check better! Despite this, the cruise is probably the most wonderful experience you can do in Ålesund and Hjørundfjord.

Really enjoyed our fjord cruise yesterday. It was fabulously sunny which helped. We chose to be dropped off at Sæbo which is a beautiful little place. Got coffee and cake from the supermarket and strolled along the waterfront. There is a huge swing just past the private sauna. Me and my husband both went on it!! Public loo in centre of village. Got picked up after about an hour and half for cruise back. No audio guide or anything like that but it didn’t matter. The scenery was so fabulous. The crew were also lovely. My husband has a bad knee and they were very kind helping him off the boat. Highly recommended trip!
