Full description

See beautiful countryside and nature views on this Tuk Tuk tour. You will pass through Ferreiras a small village near Albufeira .You will go to the Castle of Paderne, then visit the famouse windmill (Moinho do Leitao). There, you will have a small tour that will explain how a windmill works. Continue through Paderne towards Alte, a small traditional villa located between the mountains. Visit the fountains and the natural pools, take the opportunity to go for a dive, and see the waterfall (Cascata do Vigário). To end your visit, you can try Medronho (a traditional drink in the Algarve). On the way back, you pass by the largest plantation of oranges in the region, travelling along rural roads and seeing places you would not otherwise discover. All tours can be customized according to your preferences.

Andre is a very nice guy , fluent in English luckily for us . The Tuc Tuc experience is a different way to go site seeing of the beautiful inner working of the countryside. You get to see little back streets that even cats and dogs would find hard to navigate . Louis at the old mill was a bundle of knowledge on the working of the mill and all the Portuguese people we met were so friendly . Excellent day out . Put your sun lotion on , altho, there's good cover with the canvas roofI suggest have a light jacket or top because on the way back is a bit of a drive and can be a little chilly with the wind whistling past for so long , just in case .

Super fun trip through the interior of the Algarve. We have seen everything in the description and in consultation with the driver you could make extra stops or see other things than a standard route for everyone. Andre is a very friendly man who takes the time to show things and to have a drink / swim break. All in all definitely recommended to see and learn something about the interior!

Tried to book same day, times were hours outside of what was stated online (pickup time was scheduled for 11pm, when we tried to schedule for afternoon)- when we tried to call and emailed to cancel, we received no response.
