Get lost in the beauty of eastern Algarve on this our from Albufeira to the charming towns of Faro, Olhão, Tavira, and Vila Real de Santo António. See old architecture at churches and a castle. Explore with some free time in Olhão and Vila Real de Santo Antonio.

Get picked-up from your accommodation and sit back and enjoy the scenery on the drive to the town of Faro. Take in the colorful boats at the marina and the Spanish Gothic architecture at the cathedral. Have some time to do some souvenir shopping before heading to Olhão.

Admire the white houses and churches in the Moorish fishing village of Olhão. Stop at the port and enjoy the vibrancy of the largest fish market on the island. Head to the oldest pâté factory in Portugal.

Afterwards, travel to the town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio which lies on the mouth of the Guadiana river. Visit the oldest Portuguese canned fish factory. Spend some free time where you can go get some lunch or do some shopping at local boutiques.

Continue on to the town of Tavira which has been settled since the late Bronze Age. Discover a variety of architectural styles at its churches and a medieval castle positioned over the Gilão river. Experience traditional Portuguese Fado music before returning to your accommodation.

I found the tour interesting. We got to know 4 cities. Every city has its charm. We were picked up from the hotel on time. A Mercedes Mini Van with 8 people. Our guide explained the most important points and sights to us while we were on the way. You have a certain amount of time to explore the area. I can recommend this tour.

Reservation of a visit in French. The guide does not speak the language well (a few words). On the ticket, it is noted "pick up between 7:30 and 8:30". It was necessary to contact the agency the day before at the end of the day to claim an hour of passage. The guide was 20 minutes late. The excursion lasted 8 hours in total (and not 10:30 am as announced on the web page). Car with 8 tourists + driver without social distancing. The guide just taxis from town to town: before stopping the car, he summarizes in 2 sentences what there is to see and what to come back in 1 hour. We are abandoned in the city without really knowing where to go. The meal (optional, not selected): soup, dish (chicken, pork, omelette), pastry, coffee €17/pers. We do not recommend this excursion. No explanation from the guide, journey in silence (except discussions between couples / friends).
