7. From Alberobello: Matera Day Tour
Start your day by meeting your driver in the center of Alberobello before departing by minivan for your day tour. After a short, scenic drive you will reach Matera.
The guided tour make you discover the typical Sassi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The tour start in the Pascoli square, with a wonderful view of the Sasso Caveoso and the hill called Murgia. Marvel at panoramic views of the city from a unique perspective.
The guided tour continues towards Palazzo Lanfranchi palace, houses the Museum of Medieval and Modern Art of Basilicata, and the nearby church of the Carmine and through the heart of the old buildings to the church of San Pietro Caveoso.
