What people are saying about Albany, Western Australia

Excellent exhibition from the assignment of an individual to track through the war, the reflection room with the tribute to each individual who was sent to the war, the silent movie which articulated many of the atrocities of the war (the Man in the Bath was particularly poignant), to the audio pieces which accompanied the displays. A moving exhibition indeed.

Knowing the history of WW1, I knew it was going to be an emotion journey but being able to follow the story of one particular soldier, made the whole experience more engaging. To see the war horse sculpture against the backdrop of panoramic King George Sound, took my breath away. Excellent day!!!

A moving tribute to all who served in WW1. Well displayed but suggest users would benefit if the interactive panels included some explanation about how to access the information contained therein. Enjoyed being able to follow my grandfather's journey through one of his peers. Ian

Fabulous location!! All the information was put together in a very interesting and interactive way. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the surrounding area.
