Alleppey also called " Venice of the East" is an important tourist destination in India. The Backwaters of Alleppey are the most popular tourist attraction in Kerala. A houseboat cruise in these backwaters is a delightful experience. Alappuzha is a landmark between the broad Arabian sea and a web of rivers flowing into it. Depart for Kumarakom, a scenic drive of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. 12:00 PM - Arrival at Kumarakom Arrive at Kumarakom, known for its beautiful backwaters. Board your traditional Kerala houseboat for a day cruise. 12:15 PM - Day Cruise Begins Begin your relaxing cruise through the serene backwaters from Kumarakom to Alleppey. After lunch, move out of your room to trek around the tea estates. Arrive at your hotel and enjoy a tasty dinner as the sun goes down. Spend the night in Munnar. Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing Tour Start your day with a trek to Letchmi Hills. After lunch, your guided tour will continue exploring Old Munnar Town and the market. Finally, have an overnight stay at the hotel. Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady The 4th day of this Kerala tour simultaneously gives you a dose of thrill and fun. Observe the mesmerizing sunset and spend the evening on a houseboat. Day 7: Alleppey - Cochin Enjoy breakfast and disembark from your houseboat as you reach Cochin.
