Overall rating
We had an awesome time! It was the perfect blend of a safari-style boat ride and a jungle walk, spotting wildlife along the way. Our guide, Arturo, was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun :) We were a bit intimidated by the length of the day at first, but with a few food stops and breaks, the time flew by. Rather than just driving straight through, our guide and driver went above and beyond—making bonus stops to point out sloths and howler monkeys in the trees right off the road! During the main excursions, we saw an incredible variety of wildlife: colorful birds, lizards, alligators, sloths, and even several scarlet macaws. My son captured some stunning shots with his professional camera, and we all had a blast. Highly recommend this experience!
Lovely lovely day with Ricardo and Christian. We stopped on the road for sloth viewing several times. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. In the first part of the tour we saw a lot of crocodiles ,lizards and birds . We also saw the Jesus Christ lizard a few times . Then we were caught in a fierce tropical storm . During the hike we saw the blue jeans frog which was delightful. Lunch was great as well. During the second part of the boat trip we didn’t see much . Overall the day was fabulous albeit a little tiring . Fabulous day . Thank you Ricardo .
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we found many frogs and snakes. I absolutely respect the rules of closed toe shoes and long sleeved shirt, with rain gear. I can’t believe the number of people who just don’t think it applies to them. I don’t need to be poked by some guys parasol as he wears shorts and a tshirt. I take the environment seriously with the utmost of respect for the guides and the work that they do. Would highly recommend!! Just follow the damn rules people!
Very long day but great chance to see the country. The zip line adventure was the highlight. Relaxing at the volcanic springs was incredibly relaxing.
A great travel around. We were visiting coffe plants and producers. it's highly recommended and you can explorer a lot on the trip.
