Overall rating
We really enjoyed the day trip to Amouage, Nizwa, Birkat el Mouz, and Jabal Akhdar with Hamza and Soltan. The tour is on the pricier side, but you get a private experience and full day (for us over 10 hours) of exploring the area with lovely guides in a comfortable 4WD vehicle. The lunch was also delicious and there was also time for coffee afterwards. I would recommend this to my friends planning to visit Oman.
Perfect day trip for a couple. We got to see the beautiful town of Nizwa, where we visited the souq. Vendors were less in your face than in Mutrah's souq. The second part of the trip took us to the beautiful mountains where we observed amazing views. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared lots of information about the sites we visited and provided recommendations.
The activity was excellent, our guide Abdullah was great, professional, with a lot of humor and an infectious laugh, kind and generous. He taught us a lot about the history of Oman.
A very good experience.. the colours in the pictures in the app - of the mountains was misleading a lil. Otherwise, all good..
Nizwa was beautiful and the Arabian Grand Canyon was stunning. A great trip to explore beyond Muscat.
