We really enjoyed the tour. The boat didn't get crowded with people, hot drinks were available & other ways to warm up (eg blankets). Our guide was great & told a lot about the whales. Dress really well in bad weather, it gets quite cold due to the headwind :)

Although we only saw a whale for a few seconds in Akureyri, the tour went well and the trip through the fjords was very worthwhile. The guides told a lot of interesting facts about the whales and the area. We also got a voucher for another whale watching tour, which we were also allowed to redeem in Rejkavijk and where we saw some whales and dolphins. Before the tour, I was concerned that the space of the animals would not be respected. But these were quickly taken from me. The whales are sighted without technology.
