Just a really well put together tour with just the amount of downtime to action. Boats were fun. Caves and landscape beautiful! Music really was the icing on top. One of the best excursions I’ve done. Only wish there was a little more English spoken, but that’s more our problem than the guides!

Absolutely brilliant tour, that I can highly recommend :)! The landscapes are breathtaking and our guide was a lot of fun! He had an impeccable music taste as the whole trip was accompanied by a perfectly curated playlist that changed based on the landscape. The only thing I would change is the restaurant for lunch. Not the nicest food and not a single option without meat. There is a beautiful restaurant (Gobi Caffe) just next to it, with a great menu for every taste.

Full description

Board a semi-rigid speed boat piloted by a qualified captain to explore the west coast of Corsica. Discover the Scandola Nature Reserve, a Unesco World Heritage Site, with a wide variety of sea and land animals and plant life. Start your tour from Gargalo Island and head to the reserve for your first swimming stop. Swim through the turquoise waters while your captain prepares an aperitif with a tasting of charcuterie and rosé wine. At noon, enjoy lunch in Girolata, an 18th-century fishing village built around a fort only accessible by sea. Have your skippers make a reservation at a restaurant for you or bring your own picnic to enjoy on the beach with wild cows roaming about.

At 2 PM, enjoy another swim at Anse Ficaghjola. Dive into the Capo Rosso natural pool in the Calanques de Piana surrounded by fish. Take a last swim in the Anse de Cala di Pala and jump from natural diving boards at different heights before returning.

This was one of the best daytrips I’ve ever done. Olivier was an expert and entertaining guide and paced the perfectly so that every minute was either incredibly fun (playing with turns and speed in the boat), atmospheric (amazing choices of music), scenic and/or relaxing. Amazing value for money and can’t recommend this highly enough for others wanting to experience this beautiful part of the world!
