This is an excellent trip to explore the lavender fields and surrounding areas. Our guide Anthony was fantastic!! He gave interesting facts throughout our ride and made sure we were well taken care of. We visited two lavender fields, a sunflower field, a cool place to learn about lavender, shop local goods and eat lavender ice cream. The lavender ice cream was fantastic, so give it a try. We continued the journey to a gorgeous small town where we could explore the town and climb the rocky stairs toward the convent. We stopped at a gorge to take in the scenery and take pictures, before some time on a beautiful lake to relax and swim if you wished. If you get the opportunity to take this tour, take it!

We thoroughly enjoyed the full day tour to the lavender fields, Moustiers St. Marie and the Gorges du Verdon. Our guide, Margot was fantastic and gave an excellent commentary throughout the day. We had plenty of free time at all the stops and never felt rushed at all. I'd highly recommend this tour and would absolutely do it again. The whole day was perfect.

Full description

Embark on a scenic drive through the Durance River and explore the renowned Plateau of Valensole, famous for its lavandin cultivation. Meandering small roads lead you through expansive fields of vibrant flowers, with different stops along the way to admire the blooming lavender fields.

Stop at a local producer's workshop, where you'll discover lavender and lavandin essential oils, olive oil, lavender honey or other products. Continue to the charming village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, celebrated for its earthenware workshops (enjoy free time for exploration and lunch, not included in the tour).

In the afternoon, journey to the stunning viewpoint opening the Verdon River. Pause to capture photos in the picturesque lavender fields, and enjoy some free time in the idyllic village of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon. Enjoy a relaxing stop at Sainte-Croix : stroll along the shores lake.
