It was a short, compact trip to Cassis. It was a 40 minute drive each way, our tour guide drove us to the top of a cliff to look down on the village of Cassis (this part is weather dependent) to snap some photos - the view was beautiful. Once we got to the town, our tour guide highly recommended the boat tour to see the calanques (extra €17/adult), it was a nice boat ride. Once the boat tour was over, we had just under an hour before heading back. Since we added the boat tour, it felt a bit rushed as it would have been nice to have a bit more time to walk around afterwards. All in all, the tour was good if you don’t want to do much research on transportation, etc, but essentially you’re paying for transport to and from Cassis with some tidbits of the area along the way.

Ask for Natalie! We enjoyed a fantastic tour with Natalie starting from Aix-en-Provence to Cassis. Natalie drove us to Cassis in a comfortable minibus and is very entertaining along the way. Learn about the wines in the region and about the towns you pass. We took the optional boat tour to Les Calanques, and were promptly picked up by Natalie on return. Safe, efficient, and entertaining. Remember: ask for Natalie! Nous t'aime!

I highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgable and helpful. She helped us secure a boat excursion to see the Calanques even though there were none scheduled until the afternoon. 4 hours was not enough time to explore as the boat ride takes up quite a bit of time but worth it!
