Take your tastebuds on an adventure with a food tour of Aix-en-Provence. Enjoy tasty stops and historical anecdotes about the different streets and places along the way. Start the tour with a guided tasting of truffle based products, the one that we call the "black diamond of Provence". Sample a charcuterie and cheese board with a glass of refreshing wine. Our tour guide, Anouk, provided an exceptional experience on this tour! Not only did she introduce us to many different specialty restaurants and retailers (truffles, chocolate), but she also provided a great deal of historical information regarding Aix-en-Provence which significantly added to our enjoyment of the tour and the tastings. It was very clear that she cares about each of the participants on the tour, and was focused on doing everything she could to be sure everyone enjoyed the experience. This was one of the best local food tours we have ever been on in our many trips to Europe from the US. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Everything about the tour was excellent! Inga was a joy and so knowledgable. She made our trip. All of the shopkeepers were friendly and full of good information. I suggest just using the Cezanne statue near the tourist bureau as the meeting point. My GPS had Courronne Urbaine about a mile away, and “La Rotonde” is not specific enough.

We thought our guide Suzana was terrific. We would have preferred more food stops for local items and would have liked to skip the charcuterie place with the sullen proprietor and mediocre meat and cheese. For the price of this tour, we would have expected many more tastings.
