Top attractions in Aix-en-Provence
What people are saying about Aix-en-Provence
If you are limited in time, but on the other hand you really want to see Provence - this tour is the best choice for you. We visited all must see attractions in one day. We were at the couple wineries with tasting wines in the morning. Return back to Aix-en-Provence, have a lunch and the rest part of the day we were traveling all over Provence, visiting different small villages, lavender fields. We were at Lourmarin, Gordes, Bonniex, Roussillon, Abbaye Notre-Damme de Senanque - everything which I've read about before the trip. In short time we got brief expression of the Provence. Also special thanks to our driver Gregg, he is interested person, told a lot about Provence and villages we visited, explained what better to see in that villages.
We had a fantastic tour with Greg! He was very knowledgeable, happy, funny- and a great driver. He explained the history of all the towns we visited and he also pointed out good shopping and eating spots. He clearly loves the area and enjoys sharing it with visitors!!
In my opinion, I think an hour in Gordes and an hour in Roussillon is not necessary. I would have enjoyed more time in Lourmarin. Lea was a very good driver and she was attentive to the elderly woman who was on the tour. All in all, a most enjoyable day.
He was knowledgeable, prompt and took good care of us. We did not realise that the drive on the highway would be so long. Aix was interesting but not amazing. Driving on smaller rural roads would have been more interesting. Thankyou
we enjoyed our visit to Cassis very much. The highlight was definitely the boat ride to see the calanques. Leonardo, our guide, was very friendly and informative and we would definitely recommend this tour.
