before we got on boat James briefly gave us details of places we going to visit. when we got near whitsunday Islands where the shallow water was, boat was stopped for nearly an hour for all the people on board to go for snorkeling. It was my first time so i freaked out but nicole was very friendly, helped me to snorke,it was breathtaking, Cannot express in words how wonderful the snorkeling experience gave me to look in the water, get to find different spices of fishes, amazing reef swinging, on top of all that, we get to see Sandy the Shark. It was right 10 feet under me in a small cave. never imagined i would see shark that close. From there we were taken to white heaven Island, where we had bush walk for 15 minutes, we were full on but the bush walk was too much for kids they got tired and hungry. Right after that we had some fun time at beach whilst having lunch, playing with silicon sand and diving into the crystal clear water is the most exciting thing to do. we just loved it.

Fun boat ride and great views, overall nice day out. Make sure you don't go on a windy day though as it makes the boat ride unpleasant and the stop for lunch is very exposed to the wind. We did the north island tour and the crew were very friendly and professional. The first reef was pretty unimpressive- quite brown/grey with minimal sea life, but the 2nd stop had more colourful fish. Wouldn't recommend getting the food but they have reasonably priced drinks on board :)

The Ocean Rafting trip on the Whitsundays was fantastic. Merrin & Mandy, our skipper and crew girls were funny and enthusiastic but serious when they needed to be. We saw four lots of humpback whales and two pods of dolphins which were amazing. Merrin stopped the boat so we could have a good look at the whales coming up to the surface. We then snorkelled at two different locations; one for fish and the other for coral. I preferred the coral location as you were able to swim up so close to the coral and see the beautiful colours as well as all the brightly coloured small fish. The views from Hill lookout over Whitehaven beach were just amazing. The snorkel and goggles we were given worked well and did not leak. As well as all this Merrin and Mandy were very mindful of the beautiful natural environment telling us not to touch the coral or fish and not even letting the anti-fog solution we used for our goggles disperse into the sea. The lunch was also healthy and yummy. Good job Girls.
