Enjoy morning or afternoon tea. Board the Whitehaven vessel for the scenic cruise to the magnificent beach. Your cruise vessel has expansive seating areas inside and out and your skipper will provide an informative commentary on the history and natural wonders of the area.

Sit back, breathe in the sea air, sip a wine or beer, and marvel at the 74 Island Wonders of the Whitsundays, starting with views of Passage Peak and the Pentecost Island. The waters of Solway Passage lead you to Whitehaven Beach, a must-see in the Whitsundays.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Whitehaven with this company. Big spacious ferry with outside and covered seating. Organisation was on point. Afternoon tea was real real good. Coffee and tea went out of order but I enjoyed the friendly staff and their help esp when I got sea sick during the Rocky open water. White haven was SPECTACULAR. It’s a special place . 3 times I’ve been there and it’s been raining BUT all 3 times blue skies and sun would came out while the rest of the sea and sky was stork dark! 3rd time round I felt that there something phenomenal about this place. The water was warm and I mean warm, that was the first though lol. I will travel with this company again esp with two little kids I had in tow it was spacious and felt safe for them. Professional photographer took great pictures at an affordable package price!!!

I didn't feel we were taken to the section of Whitehaven as shown on numerous advertisements. You know the one at Hill Inlet. It always looks so pristine. The beach we were dropped at could have been anywhere. The sand was an equal mix of sand and detritus. Not easy to avoid sharp pieces with every step.

Parking is expensive, cost us $16.40 to cover the time of the excursion. Staff at check-in were very good and greeters did their job. Pretty good interaction with boat staff, given that they have to do the same thing every day. Whitehaven at high tide is excellent, although the service tent didn't have mask and snorkels available. There's only sand but many big fish to see as they wait for the feeding time. Maybe take your own. As we lined up at the end of the beach time to get on the transfer craft, they started cooking burger patties on a big BBQ, don't know who for, but putting all of us hungry travellers to that aroma was cruel as we were close and downwind. At the fish feeding time, it's best to be in the deepest water part of the circle of people around the feeding guy. Value for money? Well $125 pp is a bit much I think as they get a lot of bums on seats, so they rake a lot in. I estimate their gross income per trip must be around $10,000, could lower it a bit.
