We chose the backpacker option and were very satisfied; friendly hosts, clean, very tasty, regional food! Mark tried very hard, had a lot to say, even if it was sometimes a bit difficult for non-native speakers to understand. There were 11 of us, so there was only one free spot. The usual maximum number of participants is 8-9 guests. So it was quite crowded. Whale watching is definitely worth recommending! At the ostrich farm there were actually only ostriches and 2 giraffes to feed, but it was rather boring. The morning safari in Addo was unfortunately not worth it for us: we only saw elephants from a very long way away, zebras, antelopes. We'll say a lot more about the subsequent drive through the park in the minibus. But that probably depends a lot on the weather and the time of year! The viewpoints/landscapes were very impressive!

Amazing private trip just the two of us and the guide Melvyn who drove us around various places and was super knowledgeable about everything. The ad says it takes 8 hours but for us it took 12 hours from pick up to dropping us back as guide let us stay longer than we should have at wine tasting for instance as it was amazing place and beautiful weather. The places we saw were beautiful but it's the guide who made this trip. Melvyn 11/10

We had an excellent trip to Cape Agulhas & Hermanus but were unfortunate not to be able to see the Penguins at Betty’s Bay as due to bad weather conditions the road was closed to traffic . Our guide Mr Leonard was very proactive , gave us a lot of information regarding South Africa , took care of us in every possible way and in spite of the extremely bad weather conditions he made this trip possible .

Kelvin was absolutely amazing! he definitely made this tour so much fun! He was super knowledgeable and made great conversation! I do think that because we opted out of a couple of the included things the company should give their guides the le way to pay for some of non included items. maybe they can incorporate that for future guests. Over all I definitely recommend booking this tour!
