From Agra: Visit to Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation Trip

Shahid Khan was my driver. He was friendly, responsible and respectful. He reached out ahead of time to let me know that he was on his way. At arrival, we came and got me in the hotel. Throughout the one hour drive to the Wildlife Elephant Conservatory he pointed out various historical buildings and always kept the conversation flowing. He was a delight to have as a taxi driver.

It was very special seeing Elephants so close and grateful to know they are now in a safe space being treated with care. The assigned driver (Shahid) from Agra to the wildlife sanctuary was polite and very talented at driving through traffic. Very happy with their service. The guide that worked at the wildlife sanctuary was very passionate and knowledgeable. I had learnt so much about the elephants past life, where they are now and the sanctuary’s plans for the future. I hope this tour is expanded in the future to also include the sun bears sanctuary which is run by the same wildlife company. I do feel like I missed out a little by not seeing it.
