We were picked up from our hotel at the agreed time by a polite driver and then transferred over to comfortable air conditioned minibus and left promptly. Once we were on the move our tour guide (Akram) introduced himself and explained the itinerary for the day. We arrived in Marrakech and started off with a 20 minute external tour of the Koutoubia Mosque. After this we were taken to a restaurant for lunch but were also given the option to eat wherever we liked (Food is not included as stated in the overview) It was then time to move onto the Souks through the twisting turning back streets of the medina and what an experience it was, not to be missed! Whilst in the Souks we were taken to a Pharmacy where a talk was delivered to the group about all the natural products of Morocco with the opportunity to buy only if you wished. We finished the tour with 2 hours free time in and around Jemaa el-Fnaa Square before returning to Agadir. Akram was an amazing tour guide, he was extremely know

It was a busy and long day but well worth it!! We stayed in Agadir so the minibus (air-conditioned) ride was roughly 3.5 hrs each way however we stopped an hour before destination both there and back. Our guide, Akram was fantastic ! Very good English and provided such a lot of historical information during the journey. Clearly explained the itinerary for the day, hints on what to do and what not to do and made sure that everyone had opportunities to ask questions. If I had to make any criticism about the day it would have been to eat in an air-conditioned restaurant where there were adequate restroom facilities. We did mention this to Akram so this won't be new information. Overall a fab day and would do it again!
This was an amazing day. Well worth the journey on the bus for 3 and half hours each way. The sights and sounds were brilliant. Arkham was a good guide very knowledgeable however he had two coach loads of people to look after which meant a lot of time wasted whilst waiting for others. If there were a smaller amount of people it would have been much easier to hear what he was saying and to follow in the souks. Was still a great day would definitely recommend.
I don’t think there’s a better way to start of your visit of Marrakesch then with this Tour! Our Guide was perfectly on time and showed us all the alleys of Marrakesch, a Trip to the Bahia Palace, then to the Saardinien Tombs. He had so much historical information to share there’s no way to not be fascinated. Definitely a must and for us again!
