Full description
Spend a half day exploring all the Agadir has to offer on a city discovery trip. Following a morning pick-up at your hotel, this tour takes you along the beachside promenade, through the trendy marina, and into the busy port to see the various types of fishing boats. Discover both ancient and modern Agadir, while learning interesting facts about the city’s history and admiring views from the Kasbah fortress (Agadir Ouefellah). Explore the city center as you ride along the Mohamed V Boulevard past the Wilaya (the headquarters of the king's regional representative) and through residential neighborhoods. Stops along the way include the Mohamed V Mosque, St. Ann's Church, the Beth El Synagogue, and the walled Souk El Had marketplace, where you will have free time to explore the market and try your haggling skills. On the return ride, your knowledgeable guide will point out various other attractions and local landmarks. Despite gloomy weather, no rain but little visibility, the excursion was maintained. Ilyès was adorable. We stopped at the mosque. He became a photographer during the break. The last stop was the souk… immense… to do half a day, 1 hour is not enough. I was alone so personal guided tour. I advise to discover the important points of Agadir center if you do not have a vehicle.

Bus was on time at the ship. Our guide Bobby was in a very good mood and routinely went through the tight program. The advertising event for argan oil was unnecessary and the items offered were completely overpriced, especially since we were 5 minutes later at the promised souk where the oil was sold, for example. was available for half. It was fun anyway, we were delivered directly back to the ship. More is not possible!

Nice tour of Agadir with a drive to the Kasbah, with a beautiful view over the city and coast (access is blocked, only the outer wall can be seen). Our guide Bobby spoke German very well and, in addition to a lot of information about Agadir, also gave private insights into the country, people and his family. You can only see the mosque from the outside and walk around it. The "Berber house" contained the expected sales event of argan oil products. You get a demonstration of how to extract the oil, but later you are not rushed to buy the rather expensive products. If you are planning to buy unedited argan oil, you have come to the right place. The next stop also included a shop but with an interesting mix of Moroccan art spread over 5 floors. Nothing will be talked into you. If you want, you can buy souvenirs or marvel at the artistically displayed doors. The tour was supposed to last 3 hours, Bobby made a detour to the beach so it was almost 4.
