What people are saying about Aeolian Islands
This was a fantastic experience! The guide was very knowledgeable and timed our walk perfectly to see the sunset. We stayed at the viewpoint for more than an hour to watch the lava. It was fab! My husband is 60 and found the climb a bit challenging but thought it was definitely worth it. Get Your Guide took quite a bit of commission. If we had paid at the Fire Trekking office on Stromboli, we would have paid 20 Euros each. GYG charged us £47 (approximately 25 euros each).
The boat was on the crowded side, but there was plenty of ventilation and the staff was vigilantly instructing guests to keep their masks in place. Time on each island and after dark to watch Stromboli do her stuff was just right. Unfortunately, only a little bit of eruption action to see, but that’s just how it goes sometimes.
a very interesting tour , so much to see , very well organized. The only thing that was not very satisfying - the tour was mostly in Italian as most of the group were italians, we got some help in English- but it was probably 1/4 of info tht was told in Italian ... that was disappointing , but the rest was really nice.
This was a really spectacular hike! We walked about 1h30-1h45min up to Sciara del Fuoco. Stayed there for an hour to watch the “natural fireworks” and then walked about 1h15min down. It was quite a dynamic hike but fine if you are an active person. Take plenty of water and a sweater for the top.
Exceptional adventure with a nice guide! Giuseppe knows the volcano and tells good stories about it. Arrived at the top, you need to wait a bit to see the lava explosion but it definitely a great show. I can only recommend to book your trip with them! I
