Full description
Begin your Aegina city tour at the entrance to the Port of Aegina. After visiting St. Nicholas, the whitewashed chapel, head off to some of the city's most important buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. Discover the myriad churches scattered all throughout the town.

Visit administrative buildings significant to the time when Aegina became the first capital of Modern Greece in 1828. During your exploration, taste the famous Aegina pistachio and pass by the old town hall, the Folklore Museum, and a traditional fish market. Stop for a glass of ouzo and a meze plate at a local coffee shop.

The tour concludes at the ruins of the ancient port and city. Opt to extend the experience with a visit to the Temple of Apollo and the Archaeological Museum, as well as a swim under the ancient ruins of the temple.
