Your driver/guide will introduce you to this delightful city, which is surrounded by parklands with a blend of historic buildings, wide streets, cafés and restaurants. Drive past Adelaide's cultural precinct - North Terrace, and the Australian National Wine Centre, where you will have free time to explore the Wine Discovery Journey Museum. Pass Adelaide Botanic Gardens and the beautiful Botanic Park, home to the Bicentennial Conservatory and the Adelaide Zoo. Continue through historic North Adelaide, where you’ll see tree-lined streets, mansions and historic buildings. Stop and visit the iconic St Peters Cathedral or the newly developed Adelaide Oval. After a lunch break (not included), enjoy a scenic drive to Mount Lofty Summit, Adelaide’s highest peak. Take in the spectacular views of the city and the coastline - a perfect photo opportunity. Wind your way through the Adelaide Hills villages of Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate and Bridgewater before arriving at Hahndorf, Adelaide’s oldest German settlement. Spend the afternoon exploring the main street of Hahndorf where you can sample local produce, and check out the local arts and crafts before enjoying afternoon tea or a traditional German beer tasting at the very popular Hahndorf Inn.

Embark on a 3-day tour from Adelaide to Melbourne with accommodation in the heart of the Grampians surrounded by kangaroos and cockatoos. Travel south to the Shipwreck Coast and visit the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and other stunning locations before continuing the journey to Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road. Day 1: Adelaide - Halls Gap Depart the city through the Adelaide Hills en route to the Grampians National Park. Traveling through the western plains of Victoria, watch as the mountain range slowly grows on approach. Hike to the base of Mackenzie Falls and explore other famed lookouts of The Balconies and Boroka Lookout before checking in for the night in the heart of the Grampians Halls Gap. Day 2: Halls Gap - Warrnambool Start the day with a hike up to the iconic Pinnacle lookout with an amazing view over the Grampians. Later, visit the Tower Hill Conservation Reserve, an extinct volcano, rich in Aboriginal history and an abundance of wildlife. Finish the day with time to relax in the town of Warrnambool, before coming together for a group dinner and at a local hotspot (dinner and beverages at guests' own expense). Day 3: Warrnambool - Melbourne The last day is a journey along the historic Great Ocean Road. Begin with the highlights of the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, and London Bridge. Embark on a guided rainforest walk before lunch in the popular seaside town of Apollo Bay. Follow the road to its end as it twists and turns with stops at Memorial Arch and a famous surf beach or two, arriving in Melbourne in the evening.

Day 1: Adelaide to Flinders Ranges (L, D) Depart Adelaide at 7:30 am to journey north. Enjoy a picnic lunch and an optional bush walk with your guide. See Pichi Richi Pass, Quorn, Warrens Gorge Conservation Park, and Willochra Plain. Enjoy a delicious Aussie barbecue for dinner. Day 2: Flinders Ranges to Arkaroola (B, L, D) Travel along Moralana Scenic Drive to see unsurpassed scenery and Australian wildlife. Visit Stokes Hill Lookout for views of Wilpena Pound. Enjoy lunch at and a tour of the old copper mining town of Blinman. See Gammon Ranges National Park and Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary. Day 3: Arkaroola (B, L, D) Take on the 4WD Ridge Top Tour (approx. 4-hour return trip). Journey from Arkaroola through the incredible scenery of the Gammon Ranges. Enjoy dramatic landscapes and dramatic changing colors as you travel through the outback to the historic Beltana Homestead. Savor a country-cooked roast lamb dinner with all the trimmings. Day 4: Beltana Homestead to Rawnsley Park Station (B, L, D) This morning travel through some of the most amazing countries there is to offer. Meet the locals at the Iga Warta aboriginal community with their collection of local artifacts. Enjoy a scrumptious lunch at the old Copley Bakery. See Brachina Gorge and enjoy a bushwalk into Wilpena Pound itself. Or, relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the Flinders Ranges. The itinerary is dependent on availability. Optional extra: 30-minute scenic flight over Wilpena Pound. Day 5: Flinders Ranges to Adelaide (B, L, D) Join an early morning bush walk to see the rock art of the Adnyamathanha peoples. Head back through the Southern Flinders Ranges to see Red Gum forests. See the beautiful wine region of Clare Valley and if time permits try a tasting. Returns to Adelaide approximately 7:00 pm.

Come late afternoon, arrive in the tiny outback settlement of William Creek. Accommodation: Swag camping at William Creek Meals Included: B | - |D Day 4: William Creek to Coober Pedy After breakfast, journey to the famous underground town of Coober Pedy. Afterwards, visit Josephine's Gallery & Kangaroo Orphanage and Umoona Opal Mine & Museum. Visit the Aboriginal Heritage site, The Kanku-Breakaways Conservation Park, for mesmerising scenery of the Moon Plains. After lunch, rest your legs on the drive to our final destination, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Late this afternoon, watch an unforgettable sunset over Uluru. A guided 10km Uluru base walk is your best opportunity to connect with the rock and learn its stories. Led by our Aboriginal tour guide, explore the heart of Adelaide (Tarntanyangga) on this 60-minute walking tour, learning about the wonderful and tragic colonial history of our state's capital. This experience will begin with a traditional smoking ceremony, cleansing your spirits and connecting you to Kaurna Land before we begin our walk. We will then visit multiple prominent structures of power within the CBD, discussing South Australia's history from a First Nations perspective. Stops including New and Old Parliament House, Elder Park and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander War Memorial, amongst others, will be visited as we learn about the significance of these locations to Kaurna culture. Walk together in the spirit of harmony and reconciliation as we discover the history of Adelaide through a cultural lens!
