Full description
Depart from Shinjuku in Tokyo to the scenic areas of Hakone near Mount Fuji. First, cruise on a well-decorated pirate boat to enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Fuji around the green on Lake Ashinoko. After viewing the mountain from the water, view it in the air by taking the Hakone Ropeway up to Mount Hakone, where you can see a clear view of Mount Fuji from another mountain.  The Ohwakudani, Great Boiling Valley, is another famous volcano, which erupted 4,000 years ago with live white sulfur escaping. Try the local Black Boiled Egg, Kuro Tamago, to see whether the legend is true and that it extends your life for seven years. In the afternoon choose to visit Gotemba Premium Outlet for around 2 hours. Gotemba premium outlet is one of the largest outlets in Japan, you can see Mount Fuji from inside the outlet.  The other choice is to experience the famous hot spring from which you can enjoy a view of Mount Fuji view. Hot springs are one of the most famous cultures of Japan and many tourists like to experience it when they visit. Return to Shinjuku by 6:00 PM.

We were very lucky to be able to see Mount Fuji since according to statistics it can only be seen 80 days a year. The guide was super good in his explanations and comments. I believe that in the advertising of the tour it is necessary to warn that you should wear mountain clothing (hat, gloves, scarf and a good jacket) to withstand the strong gusts that occur in the viewpoint. A visit to the mall seems unnecessary.

An indelible impression was made by Mount Fuji and everything that was connected with it, a walk along the lake, a funicular on this sunny day it was clearly visible from everywhere and from all angles it looked majestic. On the volcano, they tried local delicacies that are offered to tourists and, well-fed and satisfied, went shopping in Gotemba, the shopaholic has where to hang himself, time flew by. The tour left a very pleasant impression, despite the fact that we spoke different languages with our guide, we did not get lost and enjoyed the splendor of Fuji.

We didn’t get to see much of amount Fuji due to cloudy weather but managed to catch a glimpse of it only towards the end of trip. The guide we had, Sheila, was wonderful and most helpful. She understand the excitement we had seeing Fuji while heading back and made special arrangement for driver to ‘pull over’ for short 2 mins photo taking. Throughout the trip, she tries her best to give due attention to each family and is always pleasant and polite. I have given her 5* rating for guide service. Though we didn’t get to see much of Fuji, it was ‘made up’ by the wonderful guide we had!
