On this 3-hour trip, you will have the opportunity to do whale watching, as well as observe geological formations such as the Saguenay Fjord. As you sail along the waters of this marine reserve aboard the Grand Fleuve, keep your eyes peeled for whales. The area is best known for its colony of belugas, but you can also sometimes spot blue whales, minke whales, and fin whales. Then continue your adventure with a short visit into the magnificent Saguenay Fjord! This inlet is 65 miles (105 kilometers) long and is sometimes as wide as 2.5 miles (4 kilometers). I booked an English tour - and was very disappointed that there was still a French part. Also the tour guide would speak for 5 min in French and only 30 seconds in English. While English might be a much simpler language - the time spent was no properly distributed.

Saw 5 humpbacks in October including a young one which was great. Pretty close to the boat but we didn’t follow them for long so it was brief for a 3hr trip, but we had to get out quite far from shore to search for the whales. Very difficult to understand the narrator as the language switched between French and English without a pause in between. Expensive for a boat trip.

The trip was good, friendly, and enjoyable to watch the show of many Whales, belugas and Focas, but they were too far, I was expecting to see them more closely. The guide speak French but English too, so it was good to understand what about he was talking. The cost, to my view it's a little expensive, for what we get.
