Depart Seville and travel through the nearby town of Coria del Rio on the banks of the River Guadalquivir. Go to the visitor center at Dehesa de Abajo, located in the northern area of the marshes of Doñana National Park. Admire the pine forests and pastures that provide home to approximately 200,000 different inhabitants, including 300 bird species such as flamingos and Spanish imperial eagles. Pass a rice field, known for Europe’s largest colony of storks. Then, continue through the vast natural space of the northern area of Doñana National Park and visit the village of El Rocío, famed for its chapel and observatory. Walk along the trails of Doñana National Park near the stream of La Rocina, and then explore Spain´s largest dune system after lunch. Return towards Seville and take advantage of the beautiful sunset through the pine forest in the Asperillo area. Spot some of the large mammals of the Doñana area, such as deer, wild boar and lynx.

Excellent Experience. Highly recommended to this in winter, as there are a lot of birds to watch in the nearby lakes. However, the picture is slightly misleading, as you rarely get to see the elusive lynx. On the other hand, the tour guide was professional. Great Value for money spent.

Beautiful day in contact with nature. The park offers a great variety of landscapes to discover: rice fields populated by various species of birds, dense and endless pine forests, spectacular dunes that lap the Atlantic Ocean. The visit to El Rocio is suggestive and immerses in the popular and religious traditions of Spanish culture. Federico was a very knowledgeable and helpful guide.

Good range of sights and saw quite a few birds- sadly no elusive lynx though. The other people in the 4x4 were a family with 2 v small kids though - it felt like we’d gatecrashed a family outing. It also meant we spent the entire trip in the furthest back seats (there was quite a lot of sitting in the vehicle looking out) and getting in and out was quite difficult - I have mild arthritis and was quite uncomfortable by the end of the day trying to get in and out of the far back.
