Like the ATM Cave, visiting Caracol is a must do experience while in Belize! It is such a privilege and opportunity to see Mayan Ruins like this and to learn about their culture. It is a long, bumpy drive but it was worth it. We also got to see the beautiful Rio Frio Cave, Rio on Pools, and Big Rock Falls on the way back but it was drizzling and we decided not to swim. Our guide, Leo, was so kind and knowledgeable - I'd want to go on any tour with him! My husband and I had a great time and we were sad to see the day end. My husband said this was actually his favorite day on our trip to Belize.

Caracol is an absolute MUST see when you are in Belize. Compared to the other Mayan Ruins, it is much harder to get to and therefore almost completely free of tourists. When we went, there were probably only 30 people in the entire park so we were able to explore freely and got to take photos unencumbered with other tourists in the background. It was beautiful! In addition, our tour guide, Cisco, was amazing! He stayed late to show us around to other sites, including a waterfall that wasn't originally scheduled. It was incredible

    Great experience - really recommended

We were picked up relatively punctually in the morning. We were a group of 8 people who were all together in a big van. However, since it had rained a bit overnight and the possibility existed that the road was difficult to drive, the guide had decided to drive with two smaller jeeps. That made a very good impression. The guide drove very well and you felt very safe despite the bumpy road. In Caracol were very few people, but this has nothing to do with the site itself, but rather with the way there. The guide explained in turn and then gave us time to climb the declared stamp. Therefore, the leadership was not boring. The lunch was traditional and delicious. The bathing in the pools was then a successful conclusion for a perfect day.
