Francesca, our guide, was incredible. very knowledgeable and super nice. we had the privilege of being just the two of us (my wife and I) with her. she did the planned tour and even went the extra mile in accompanying us to the Trevi fountain afterwards (was not in the tour). she gave us some restaurant recommendations. overall a great experience.

My husband and I booked this tour, and we got very lucky to have Samuel as our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, kind and made us feel comfortable. He took us to other piazzas different than the mainstream ones, filled with history and less touristy. We definitely loved this tour and highly recommend it. Grazie Samuel!

Enjoy a 40-minute tour of the fascinating Roman Temple dedicated to all the gods with a professional guide. Marvel at its miraculously preserved interiors and the impressive dome.  Discover the engineering secrets that made this monument the only one of its size and age to have survived the effects of time and gravity.  Admire the beauty of its proportions as Michelangelo did when he first saw this architectural jewel, and discover the pagan rational behind them. Walk in through the Corinthian columns brought in all the way from Egypt and step on the ancient original marble floor of the temple. Learn about it's later use as a Christian church and as a resting place for Christian martyrs, Italian royals and famous artists such as Rafaello himself. Optionally, you can further explore the surrounding squares and churches in another 40-minute tour in the company of your guide. You can add this option during the process of booking.
