Full description

Get your cameras ready because a memorable experience awaits you as you explore this natural wonder of the world. The 200,000-year-old falls span across the border of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay and are known to pour over 400,000 gallons of water a second onto the rocks below. Begin with a pickup from your hotel and travel outside the city of Iguazu to the national park where you will spend the day exploring the falls and learning about the history and culture. Explore the three tiers of the park to see the falls from different vantages. The lower path leads to the base of the falls where the intense crash of the falls releases a thick mist into the air. The upper path leads to incredible panoramic views of the falls from an extensive footbridge, also an unforgettable experience. Be guided throughout the tour but will have lots of free time to take pictures, enjoy nature and see the falls at your own pace. At the end of the tour, meet back up for transportation back to the hotel.

This tour include transfer from airport to the hotel which is good. Next day the guide pick me up from the hotel on time. You will have time to walk 2 trails on Argentina side. The guide took us to the Devils Throat first, then we walked the upper trail. Did not have enough time to do the lower trail as well. The guide told me I have to wait at the entrance at 12.30pm to be transferred to Brazil side. The transfer took quite a bit of time, because the driver pick us up to go back to Puerto iguazu town, and then have to transfer to another bus which go to the Brazil side. By the time we arrived at the trail, we get 1.5hours roughly to walk the trail. If you have time, I definitely recommend doing two sides in two days, a bit rush to do it in a day. I loved the Brazil side, you will get wet at the trail near the devils throat.

A very nice trip - I recommend it if you want to quickly see all the most important places at the waterfalls on both sides of the Argentinian-Brazilian border in one day. Very good organization, beautiful views guaranteed! In the morning after leaving the hotel, we visit the Argentine part of the national park, and around 1:30 pm we go to the Brazilian side.

Very beautiful but lacked tourist information

The guides only accompany you, they do not explain anything to you if you do not ask. The place is impressive but they don't tell you the reason for the name or who discovered it or why the waterfalls are named... if they don't ask they don't tell you. They do not talk about the Flora or the fauna of the place. I also had a tour booked to see the Falls from the Brazilian side and if I don't get excited, and tell the guide, I'll miss it. When they are the ones who should be aware of that.
