Full description

Go on an exciting journey and discover the capital of the Czech Republic. If you are visiting Prague for the first time and want to get an overview of the city, this tour is a perfect choice.

Start your guided tour at the Old Town Square, which is the main market square in the old town of Prague and the site of the Church of Mother of God before Týn. Stroll along the picturesque streets and pass Estates Theater as well as Charles University.

Next, see the Old Town Hall with its astronomical clock, where you can marvel at a masterpiece of Gothic science. Walk to the birthplace of Franz Kafka and discover the Jewish quarter. See the Maisel Synagogue and Pinkas Synagogue exteriors, before you stroll along the old Jewish cemetery. Then, pass the new town hall and the Clementinum, and head to Charles Bridge. Cross Charles Bridge until you reach the tram station Malostranské Náměsti. From there you will ascend Prague Castle.

Wander along the Royal Garden (Apr-Oct also visit inside the gardens) and walk past the presidential office and Hradčany square where you can enjoy the view to the German embassy. Visit the inner courtyards of Prague Castle and the Golden Lane, walking past the St. Vitus Cathedral exteriors.

At the end of Golden Lane, you will see Daliborka Tower that used to constitute a part of the rampart. The tour will end at St. Wenceslas vineyard.

Those 3 hours flew by in no time! Marcela was super nice and didn't make the tour feel like a long and exhausting history lesson. It was a tour filled with interesting facts, humor and since the group size was rather small everyone felt seen and comfortable. We ended the tour by the castle and had an amazing view of the city at night - highly recommend even for people who've already explored Prague a little on their own!

The tour was informative and very well organized. We had a very dear organizer who brought us closer to the beautiful city of Prague with a lot of passion and enthusiasm. She was very responsive to us as a group and created a nice mix of historical and current city history. Her friendly and open manner made us feel very comfortable. Always happy ❤️

The guide (a woman) was in a great mood, telling local stories and experiences. She also gives tourist tips for "do or not do" in Prague. There are no memorized lectures at the sights, but nice anecdotes. What you also notice, she is a historian and passes on certain knowledge accordingly. Price / performance top. The only drawback is that the start of the tour could be moved forward by an hour at this time of year (autumn/winter, participation in November), as it gets dark quickly towards the last third and the temperatures drop. A clear recommendation from me. Thanks very much!
