Start your full-day tour in the center of Porto where your guide will introduce you to the rich history of the city and share some intriguing anecdotes with you. Travel in style in a comfortable minivan to Peso da Régua, in Northern Portugal for a short coffee break.  Next, head to the first winery stop on the itinerary. Discover and taste the region's famous wines while admiring the panoramic views of the vineyards that weave across the landscape. Around midday, you’ll move on to a restaurant for a delicious local Portuguese lunch. Choose from fish, meat, and vegetarian options. Continue your journey to the second vineyard where you will learn about the various stages of winemaking from a vineyard specialist and get to try out some of Douro’s finest Porto wine. As a special treat, stop at the Pinhão Railway Station, whose walls are beautifully decorated with blue glazed mosaic tiles depicting sceneries of the Douro Valley and its history of port wine production. Before returning to Porto, take a scenic 1-hour river cruise along the Douro River, where you can mingle with the other guests you've met along the tour. It was a great tour! The stay at Quinta de Marrocos and Quinta St Luiz was a great experience! Marrocos is a very small winery and the difference to St Luiz was enormous! The hour of the boat trip was less nice .. without a mask it would have been better.

The "host" is not a very good guide to be honest. He is repetitive and doesn't really share too much information about the history and the region before getting out to the vineyards. He is a nice person just not a good guide. He constantly would explain our schedule but not much else. The van is cool and comfortable. With that being said the vineyard tours were incredible! The first vineyard we visited was called Moroccos and was a smaller family owned one. We walked around in the hot sun but the views were gorgeous. Not a fancy experience but a very interesting one. The guide at this vineyard was incredibly knowledgeable and really tailored the experience to our group and the questions we were asking. He knew the entire history of the vineyard and the area and it made it so interesting. Here we tried 2 ports - Ruby and White. I had never had white before and it was phenomenal - we bought a bottle of the White Tears Port for only 8 euros at their store. SO AMAZING.

An interesting, varied tour. Our guide was great. Get lots of interesting information along the way. The wine tasting is very informative, but not intrusive. The lunch was great, also the location. The boat trip to the end very relaxing and impressive due to the nature and the location in the valley, a little siesta. Definitely recommendable.
