Discover the secrets to classic French pastries at a 3-hour cooking class in Paris. Held in a venue in the Latin Quarter, just steps from Notre-Dame de Paris, you will be welcomed by your host to work in classes of between 3 and 7 people for a more intimate experience. Start with a welcome refreshment and get to know your fellow bakers. Then, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and bake! You will work for about 2 hours following hands-on instructions on how to make Pâte à Choux and Crème Pâtissière et Chantilly, the building blocks of many a French pastry, as well as some savory delicacies. Learn how to pipe and master the most fundamental technique of French patisserie making. Then, create your own chocolate éclairs and cream puffs. This is when a native Frenchman enters to tell a story or 2 about French culture and pâtisserie - often tongue in cheek - as you enjoy tea, coffee or organic fruit juices. Leave your cooking adventure loaded with a box of your own creations to share with your friends and family. Or keep them for yourself to eat over the next couple of days!

    Fabulous afternoon of cooking and tasting

    I arrived 1hour late as my plane was delayed into Paris, but was instantly welcomed by Frédérique and included into the cooking crew. The pace was lively and any rejects were quickly “ disappeared “ (eaten/ tested) Lots of secret hints and tips for success , emailed recipes after ,and open invitation to troubleshoot any home disasters . Frédérique delivers his class with enthusiasm and passion sweeping everyone along . A scrumptious experience .... imagine if I’d attended the entire class !

    The best !! Chef Frederic made it the BEST experience!!

    We were a small group of 5 and it was by far the best excursion I did in the City of Paris. Frederic made the class so much fun we were laughing as much as we were baking. At the end when we were enjoying our creations, he even took the time to ask us where we were staying and gave us a restaurant recommendation based on the proximity of where we were staying. We went based and his recommendation and had one of the best dinners that evening as well. Love, love, loved it!!

    Personable instructor in a nice building at a good location

    Our family had fun taking the Choux Pastry and Chocoloate Eclair class. The class lasted about 3 hrs. We started out making the filling then moved on to make the dough for the eclairs and choux. After we were done, we all sat down for coffee/tea and sampled our creations. Each person was able to take home at least one box with several eclairs / choux. It was fun. Our kids loved it. Thank you.
