My reservation day was the day before Thanksgiving. All nearby streets were closed by the police and event organizers. In front of the museum, no one even crossed the street. I managed to enter the museum almost 1 hour after the scheduled time. There was no warning about these details or information on how to proceed.

Book a full day, arrive early and make the most of everything. It's a simply huge place, with lots of interesting things. It definitely makes you want to go for several days to explore everything in every detail, very calmly. It's unmissable. I recommend! Be careful when arriving with GetYourGuide, as you will need to join the normal ticket purchase line to exchange your voucher.
