We came to the boat after walking downtown from early morning. We boarded the boat at 3 pm for a two hour cruise. We enjoyed being on the river and listen to all the stories about the harbour. We came early and had a window seat near an open window. We had a good view of the harbour and the fresh air was good in 34 degree weather.

Nice boating on the Yarra river. Do sit inside, because the old diesel engines drown out the captain annex guide. Because a regatta took place, the trip has been rebooked to a trip to Williamstown. Then you pass part of the route along a less interesting port and industrial area

We did the 2 hour cruise which went up river first. That part of the journey was not very interesting and quite industrious. We did debate about getting off halfway through but glad we didn't. The 2nd part going towards the sea was much more exciting and pretty. The Captain was very knowledgeable and his co worker was very cheerful and helpful.
