A treat for my Mum for her birthday. Going in December I booked for a 15:00 slot in order to see the sunset. Worked out perfectly, as we were sailing we enjoyed tea, sandwiches, scones and mini cakes, all while the sun went down. This is a nice experience for two or a family. Staff were helpful, always ready to help. My only criticism would be the scones were a little dry, even after putting a dollop of jam on top. Additionally for the option or plain scones being a choice, I picked most of the dried fruit out.

We thought overall it was a wonderful experience. The sandwiches and sweet items were quite nice, but the scones (which we were looking forward to) was quite dry and disappointing. Also we absolutely could not hear the commentary properly perhaps as people were trying to enjoy the sights whilst eating and talking.

Lovely afternoon tea on the river. We each get a dedicated amount of sweets and sandwiches, as well as a few top-ups of tea or coffee from the staff who walk around. It started at 3:30pm, but by 4:30 it was quite dark which was a lovely evening cruise as we had also finished our afternoon tea by that point. It was worth the money.
