Any visit to London would not be complete if you miss visiting Kensington Palace. Its a very popular tourist attraction so be prepared to wait in a lengthy queue. (Not always but in the peak summer time you will have a long wait to get in). Ensure you get a copy of the guide to assist you on your tour around the palace. On the day we visited the queue was long and we slowly wound our way up stairs and floors. Some of the rooms were so packed it was uncomfortable. It would pay to enquire best days and times to visit as it may vary.

Kensington Palace is worth the visit, guides within the house gave good levels of information and cafe on site for refreshments, however by buying through third party site we were not able to upgrade to an annual family ticket, which we would like to have done, so third party sites are ok if you only want to visit one palace, but eg if you want to include Hampton court or one of the other Royal palaces then recommend you buy at the door.

GYG tickets for this venue require standing in queue to get timed entry tickets into palace at the ticket office rather than direct admittance. Once inside, all the Royal apartments are must visits and excellent commentary is offered in certain rooms during the visit. It is a treasure trove of Royal history, grand in its own right. Good food in the palace restaurant and the sunken gardens are beautiful.
