Embark on a magical mystery tour and see how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to dizzying heights of fame and fortune from humble childhood beginnings. Replicas of the Casbah, Mathew Street and The Cavern authentically capture the early 60s, allowing you to experience firsthand the very places that helped make The Beatles the biggest band in the world. Hear the story unfold through our ‘Living History’ audio guides available in 11 different languages (English, Brazilian-Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Polish, Russian and Spanish). Let all this take you down to the Beatles Story.  In 2018, The Beatles Story celebrates 50 years since The Beatles travelled to India with the launch of a special exhibition. ‘Beatles In India’ looks at this key period in time with new memorabilia, imagery and personal accounts from people who were there with them.

My guide Tony was excellent and very knowledgeable about the Beatles and their history both in Liverpool and beyond. Tony also showed some unique locations off the beaten path including George's and Ringo's boyhood homes. Tony also pointed out buildings that were featured in the Beatles songs including the Penny Lane round about and barber's shop. I truly enjoyed my tour with Tony and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

It was amazing! The place is unreal. You feel as if you travelled to some decades back in the past. I didn’t realise how little I knew about The Beatles until I finished my visit to the museum! It’s definitely worth the visit, since you learn a lot about this iconic band.

I was really pleasently surprised with the tour of the story, I knew it would be good but was a lot better than I was expecting. Great facts, interesting rooms to look through. I came away knowing a lot more about the Beatles and wanting to hear more of their music. The only thing I wasn't happy about was having to wear headphones throughout the whole experience. After a while this really started to hurt my ears. It was also quite hard to catch the certain numbers in each room you would have to pin into your keypad to hear the information. I feel it could be slightly better organised. Also some members of staff needed a bit more enthusiam! Overall great learning experience learning about the Beatles and their story.
