Our host/guide was amazing! English was perfect! Market tour was a great added extra, it was a fabulous look into daily life of the Vietnamese people & their cuisine. The cooking course was amazing & all good made was delicious. Our chef was humorous and thorough. She explained everything in detail & was patient with those who needed abit extra help. It was a great morning & a must for anyone visiting the city. We were given all our recipes & bought some extra souvenirs.

I enjoyed and appreciate (1) the market tour, (2) identifying & explanations of the ingredients, and (3) the small size class with the hands-on experience. The instructor was knowledgeable and had good interactions with the class as a whole and individually. Thanks, it was fun!

I really enjoyed the market tour and cooking class, the market tour was great fun with the guide running through ingredients we would be cooking with that day and others as we passed them. The cooking course was held in an old colonial building, and Oanh our chef was amazing. She was able to teach to 12 people of various ages starting from 8 years old and calmly to students whose first language wasn’t English. We never felt rushed or that anything was too difficult. And due to a lot of the prep work we were able to rattle through and cook and eat 3 different dishes. Despite how easy Oanh made it look I am still not sure I can cook Vietnamese food at home. The only solution is to come back to HCMC again LOL!
