Full description
Begin your tour to Chapala starting with a visit to the old station of the French facade train whose construction was completed around 1920. Continue with the beautiful boardwalk, walk and admire the view of the largest lake of Mexico. It is because of its pleasant climate that it is a place of bird migration. By December 1955, Lake Chapala was in one of its worst droughts, that is why it was decided to take the virgin of Zapopan and make a pilgrimage looking for the miracle of rain. As a result of this event in June 1956, it rained so much in the storm that it recovered and thanks to this miracle a thank you mass is celebrated every year on the 1st July. Continue your visit through the Floresta, a place where foreigners go to retire, fleeing the extreme climates of their cities. Stop in Ajijic where free time is given to explore. Board the truck and transfer to Piedra Barrenada, where you can get some food at your own expense. Conclude at the meeting point indicated by the guide and undertake your return.

It was good, guide very friendly and knowledgeable

The trip to Ajijic was a little short and only one stop at a candy store. The problem with that is the candy did not appear fresh, chocolate stale, and very overpriced. I don't think it was a good addition to the trip and think there would be a better choice for getting to know something about Ajijic other than this candy store. Other than that, it was a very good tour.

It was okay nothing more! First I waited over 40 minutes at the wrong hotel. I was emailed the wrong hotel name. Then I felt rushed in Ahihic where it seems to be the most interesting part of the tour. Snake island was cancelled and after requesting several times for a partial refund a was offered a mean 15$ and 15% of my next tour!! Other participants paid 20$ less then I did. There won't be a next tour with "getyourguide"! We also waisted one hour in the morning to stop at the office and all that to receive a free coffee or water bottle. At least when the group came back to the city I was dropped close enough from my place, so I could walk to my Airbnb. That was the best part!

Our guide was absolutely fine! It did not matter to him! However, I find that the activity was not worth the money! I expected more!
