Loved this day so much! Ally was a lovely guide and the group of other walkers was all similar "level" of fitness/walking. Ally gave a good amount of background info - not too much and not too little. We had time to just look around at Wineglass Beach and Hazards Beach without feeling overcrowded or micro managed". We felt very spoiled with the lollies etc at our photo stops and the lunch was OMG so yum! Those almond cookies were melt in the mouth (31 Jan 2023), the wraps and everything else was all excellent.

We had a great day with Sara. We were a group of 7 traveling together. She was very attentive and spent time talking with each one of us during the walk. She paced us well and took breaks when we needed. We stopped for tea and lunch and she always made sure we were keeping hydrated. She explained the history and the culture of the land as we hiked through the beautiful scenery. She took lots of pictures of our group and shared them on Facebook. We highly recommend Freycinet walking tours.

Departing from Freycinet Lodge, your dedicated guide begins your adventure by leading you over the spectacular Hazards mountain range to reach the Wineglass Bay Lookout, where you'll be treated to awe-inspiring views of this iconic bay. Don't forget to pose for a group photo, which your guide will capture to commemorate your journey. After soaking in the scenery, you'll descend along a picturesque, Eucalypt-lined track to the pristine white sands of Wineglass Bay beach. Here, take a moment to relax and enjoy a hot drink and morning tea while surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty that surrounds you. Next, your exploration continues to the west of the peninsula, where you'll discover the stunning Hazards Beach. As you traverse the shoreline (barefoot if you wish), learn about the unique wildlife that calls this area home and hear captivating stories about the history of its pink granite peaks. Dig into your backpack and enjoy a delicious packed picnic lunch, before taking leisurely strolls along the shore to search for hidden treasures and enjoying the serenity of the beach. To cap off your adventure, conveniently board the Freycinet Aqua Taxi from your lunch location for a scenic journey back to Freycinet Lodge, offering a different perspective of the peninsula's beauty from the water. The walking tour was excellent. Our guide, David was exceptionally good, knowledgeable, funny and patient. The food provided was really yummy too in lovely lunch packs and there was even hot coffee or tea at a beach stop along the way. At the start of the hike, fruits and energy bars were offered and even the use of their back packs for the walk. The walk needs fitness and a lot of steps are involved so bring poles although David also had poles to lend. I would recommend this tour most highly as it included beautiful beaches, sightings of birds and lovely walking paths through bush with interesting plants and beautiful trees and ended with an amazing view of wine glass bay.
