we booked aquaventure waterpark on a monday as we thought that would be a quiet day. we didn’t arrive until after 12pm (not the atlantis’ fault) and when we got in there were next to no sun loungers. we got a space on the beach and went to go on some slides to discover there were queues everywhere. we went in the lazy river/rapids and thought the queues may die down which they didn’t. we waited over an hour in a queue for a singular slide which completely put us off waiting for others as it was hot and we couldn’t just leave the queue to get a drink. other than queues, the park was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. would definitely recommend getting there for it opening. this is the second time i’ve been to the park and the first time i didn’t have to wait in a single queue, if you can afford it; fast pass may be worth it.

The fast tube well worth a go.. you will be weighed and the traffic light system says if green your the right weight to ride it..red light your too heavy and amber your to light so be prepared after a long climb up all them stairs. Lazy river is good and the rest are probably what you have done before. Take your own towel and you have to pay for lockers.

We had a top day out here! There’s something for everyone here and it’s very well organised. We used the people movers to full advantage to take us to each section of the park. Love that we got free aqua shoes to keep our feet from burning on the hot ground too. My favourite slide has the longest line but it was worth it to go through a waterslide surrounded by the aquarium, with sharks and rays swimming over us as we went through-so memorable!
