Firstly rainbow valley is really beautiful, but for that reason it’s also very popular so we were a little frustrated when some other guests weren’t ready on time and we were delayed getting to the car park (not the providers fault but still annoying). There were lots of other buses there When we arrived my partner and I got up the mountain as quickly as possible and we’re luckily within the first fifty people up there. We got a few photos at the first viewing platform but the better views are at the higher hill so id recommend a little extra effort. I told my guide I wanted to do the red valley too which was a little detour and cost 10 soles. He said that was fine as long as I was back in time, it’s almost deserted and really gorgeous. The food is basic but fine, our guide Fernando was great and left us to our own divises. He speaks great English. All in all I’d recommend but make sure you get up quickly, either by foot or the horses (additional cost)

Customer service was non responsive but the trip itself could not have gone any better! I highly recommend this trip as it was beautiful and then I also added on to see the Red Valley which was stunning. Many of the people in my group really struggled with the elevation so be aware of this.

Great trip with a great guide! Would definitely recommend this to others. We had about 4 hours once we were at the mountain to go our own pace / choose our own route after we got to the rainbow mountain summit. Breakfast and lunch were good, too. Be sure to hydrate because the altitude is no joke!
