The boat tour was a highlight of my family’s trip to Italy! We had incredible weather, so the trip around capri and access to the blue grotto while it was sunny was unforgettable. The boat captains are not there to play tour guide…they will tell you little pieces of information about what you’re seeing, and they are polite, but they don’t talk for most of the boat trip. We didn’t expect them to, so it didn’t detract from an amazing morning on the island. We took an early ferry from Naples, and got the first boat tour around the entire island at 10am. We only had to wait 5 minutes to get into the blue grotto, which was a big bonus!

O passeio ocorreu num barco simples, não nos foi avisado se havia salva-vidas. O tempo não estava muito bom por isso o passeio foi liberado a partir do meio dia. Ventava muito e o barco sacudiu demais...fiquei com muito medo e sem saber o que fazer caso ocorresse alguma acidente. Demos uma volta até os Faraglioris e retornamos à Marina, embora o ticket desse direito de visitar também a Gruta Azul. Após indagamos sobre o retorno foi nos informado que a Gruta estava fechada devido más condições do clima...foi um passeio tenso!

Boat was comfortable, sits on the roof with excellent view and room for everyone (we went early October so boat was only 30% full). There was a clean toilet. Captain did a ride around the island with commentary and enough time for everyone to take photos. Blue grotto had a long waiting time, and as advertised, captain decided not to wait for 1.5 hours and we were given the option to come back later on a smaller boat just for the grotto with no extra charge.
