Swimming with the whale sharks was a really special experience that my friends and I will never forget. Transportation was prompt and picked us up from our AirB&B. Our guide kindly let us stop at an ATM & Pharmacy to collect motion sickness pills - which I would recommend as some members of the trip were very unwell on the boat. The journey to the whale location was around an Hour+, but was peppered with insights about the whales from our thoughtful Guide Diego. For those who are scared / worried about sharing the water with this beautiful fish, please don’t be, the activity was a tranquil spectacle I will never forget!

Collected by Hugo & Phile. They were very lovely people. The boats are limited to 10 guests so myself & 1 guy from our bus were put on a different boat with Heime: captain Tito: crew/diver Charlie: guide/diver Huge round of applause for them. A few people were very sea sick: please take anti nausea tablets, otherwise you'll ruin your own experience. 1 girl had a full on panic attack when she jumped in the water. The crew stayed calm & were very helpful to all who needed it. I paid extra for the edited video, which came out great. I was a little disappointed at first. There were far more boats there than expected. You jump in groups of two with Tito, the first two groups said they didn't see much, but then we moved further out to look for another shark & it was less crowded, much better experience. They offer a secondary chance to swim once everyone has had a turn, which is great.

The experience was something amazing. Worth every cent. The animals are majestic and to see them in their natural habitat was epic. I went about a week ago and still talk about it to anyone that will listen. Will definitely go again. Tour guides were great. TAKE THE SEA SICKNESS PILL. We had some guests get sea sick and messed up their experience. Thank you Jose for the info. Very knowledgeable guides.
