We had a fantastic day out. Our guide Myriam was brilliant, funny and informative. We especially enjoyed the visit to the silversmith museum which Myriam provided a guided tour of. It was great to visit the ranch and we really enjoyed the horse riding in particular. My partner and I are both vegan and we were surprised at the quality of the food we received which was absolutely delicious. So recommend this day trip.

Full description

Begin your 9-hour tour with a drive from your hotel in Buenos Aires to the village of San Antonio de Areco. Enjoy views of the pampas en route and listen to commentary about the area from your guide. When you arrive, take a walk around the historic downtown area. Afterward, head to the a estancia, where you’ll enjoy either a horseback ride or carriage ride along with some traditional Empanadas and beverages. Later, sit down to a typical Argentinian BBQ with the finest meats. During dessert, take in a folklore show followed by a demonstration of amazing gaucho skills (If Premium option is selected).

Emilia our guide was so excited and enthusiastic and knowledgeable that she dictated the great vibes on this tour. The small group, only 14 people, made it easy to connect , talk, laugh and added to the great time. We felt we had just the right amount of time in each activity. The food was delicious and a lot of it. Our hosts at the ranch were so friendly and kind and welcoming! All in all we had a wonderful experience and recommend it all heartedly.
