Having parked near the Suncliff Hotel and caught bus originally there, was dissapointed to find that no buses actually ran back to there. Fortunately it was a beautifully sunny day and so the 15 minute walk from town was ok. We actually hopped off 3 times and the last driver was super witty and entertaining (now forgotten his name but an Asian gentleman). Excellent route and commentary although far too quiet and if you sit outside it does get very difficult to hear. Still dont know what the Chines are about! Other critisism is two of the drivers were too fast so it felt like a rollercoaster at stages rather than a relaxing tour.

I loved the open bus ride. It is a great experience on a warm day, being up top and outside adds to the ambience of the tour. The commentary was entertaining. The open top bus would be much colder away from the protection of the big window screen at the front of the bus. Staff were lovely, really enjoyed the tour. Great option to hop on and hop off or do the whole tour all at once. Thankyou.

Would have been excellent if translation equipment worked!

Having already written to your email address and awaiting a reply I'll write a brief review here. Trip and bus tour was very good but extremely disappointed by the lack of translation audio not installed on the bus but marketed everywhere. We were even given headphones as the audio guide worked in English but the co-driver (08/04) on board didn't realize that our party of 4 were partly French! We did translate parts of the trip commentary from English to French for our friends but this spoilt our time on the bus too! It's a bit of a let down when you're given headsets and you can't get them to work as you're told that the software has never been installed for foreign languages from the day the bus was collected in Edinburgh (so we were told). As we say in French "C'est la vie", but nevertheless not very good from a Brits point of view. Hopefully my comments will be taken on board for the benefit of other foreign visitors otherwise this review is a complete waste of all our times.
