Next, make your way towards Bolívar Square, known as the epicenter of the country's history, where you will listen to expert commentary about the government buildings and their significance. From there, walk through La Candelaria along Jimenez Avenue, one of Bogota's most important roads which leads to some of the top sights in the city, including the San Francisco Church, where you will have the chance to go inside and appreciate all the details. Later, visit the colorful Chorro de Quevedo neighborhood. As you soak up all the street art and graffiti, you will also learn all about the city's historical emerald trade.
