Full description
After departing from Athens at 08:45, drive for 2 hours to reach Levadia where you will have your first stop for a stretch and refreshments. Continue to Arachova, a town famous for its bright multi-colored carpets, before arriving in Delphi. At the foot of Mount Parnassos lies the sanctuary of Delphi, once home to the most famous oracle in Ancient Greece. Set in a spectacular landscape, Delphi was for centuries a cultural and religious center and a symbol of unity for the Greek world. Visit this historic archaeological site with ruins dating back to the 4th century B.C. Start with the ruins of the incredible Temple of Apollo followed by the ancient theater, featuring 35 rows and space for up to 5,000 spectators. Then head to the Delphi Museum to see more archeological treasures, including the unique bronze statue of the Charioteer dedicated to Apollo in 478 B.C. After your guided visit you will have approximately 1 hour free for lunch before boarding the bus for your return trip to Athens.

All good apart from being asked to download trippi app the night before. The app runs on Bluetooth and depends on signal quality and number of users it often drops out. But it’s a complete waste of time because you can hear every word your guide says anyway. With trippi you just get it again through your headphones 3 seconds later. If you are far enough away that you can’t hear your guide then you also far enough away for the Bluetooth to not work ! Waste of time

A lot of road but expected, for an exceptional spectacle of Delphi, magnificent, and what a panorama! English / French guide who speaks bcp +++ but interesting. We let go of the explanations a little faster to enjoy the scenery. Tip: grab a sandwich to eat in the village of Delphi in front of the top view with a coffee or a beer, not the included meal.

Amazing and exciting trip

Our guide is really nice and can speak English fluently. She gave us informative and interesting stuff of Greek history and mythology. Delphi is a nice place and we got some free time to walk around there after her guided tour. It would be great if there were more time in the museum. And it is appreciated that there was protest event in Athens, driver and guide kept us safe to drop off all of us in safety place. Many thanks. Overall it is amazing.
